- Mono layer
barrier mats
The basic element of mono-layer
barrier mats is a heavy, flexible sound insulating layer. These barriers
are directly applied to the substrate by means of adhesive or mechanical
fixing and will greatly enhance the insulation characteristics of all
conventional materials such as sheet metal or timber panels.

- Barrier Mat BM 1000
series
Sound barrier mats contain a flexible heavy layer, formed from
mineral-filled PVC polymer. The basic element of monolayer barrier mats
is a heavy flexible sound insulating layer. |
- Barrier Mat ISM
75
The ISM 75 sound Barrier Mat contains a flexible heavy layer,
formed from mineral-filled EVA polymer. ISM 75 can be hot moulded. For
simple installation the optional ISM 75S is provided with a
self-adhesive backing. |
- Barrier Mat
BPL
The BPL Sound Barrier Mat
contains a flexible heavy layer, formed from mineral-filled Bitumen with
excellent cold flexibility. For simple installation the BPL mat is
provided with a self-adhesive or heat fusible backing.
Top coat of
PE-film or aluminium. |
- Space layer barrier
mats
The material has the
characteristic properties of a double-wall resonance barrier. At
frequencies below resonance, transmission loss is weight dependent.
Above the resonance, transmission loss increases at 12 dB/octave.
